Evelyn's Adornments is a unique eclectic collection of handmade contemporary designer jewellery, a fusion of pure silver (Precious Metal Clay), chain mail in sterling silver and gold fill and colourful polymer clay pieces, enhanced with semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals individually designed and produced. Some of the chain mail weaves are ancient!

A wide range of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, brooches and wine glass charms are available. Each piece is hand made, unique and exclusive. Individually designed and made to a very high standard in Hertfordshire, UK.

Irene's Profile

Evelyn's Adornments was created in 2006 by Irene Hilditch who is the proprietor of the Hertfordshire company, based in the historic county town of Hertford.

Irene was born and raised in Kenya and moved to England when she was twenty-three. She has travelled extensively throughout the world and through this developed an appreciation of different cultures and traditions.Anyone who has ever travelled to, watched a documentary about, or read a book on the subject of Kenya and her people, will know that jewellery is an important part of Kenyan culture.

Irene hand makes her jewellery in her home studio, using sterling silver and pure silver elements with semi precious and precious stones, handmade beads, and sterling silver filigree. She also uses precious metal clay, a product that has very recently been brought to the United Kingdom.

Irene is a proud member of the PMC Guild and runs beginner PMC workshops in Hertford where students can make their own jewellery for special occasions or just for themselves.
